Brandi Chastain Signed USWNT Photo: Special Edition 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Winner Story

Brandi Chastain is one of most prolific female athletes. Chastain was a member of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team that helped the United States to a Gold Medal win at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. She attended Santa Clara University and led the Broncos to two Final Four appearances. When she graduated college in 1990 Chastain became a part of history as she joined the U.S. Women's National Team and competed for the first ever Women's World Championship. Chastain excelled and quickly became one of the most famous female football players of all time, providing one of the greatest moments in the history of women's sports in 1999 with her Women's World Cup -clinching kick on the U.S.'s fifth penalty in the Rose Bowl final on July 10th. She has since been on the cover of Newsweek, Time and Sports Illustrated and is a true American icon.
